This weekend there's a festival here a the beach and i'm excited to listen to music, eat good food, and bike around the town with my good friends. There's always festivals here during summer time, one of the many perks of beach living. I plan on bringing my Canon Rebel and capturing some shots of the festival and the amazing style these beach bunnies bring. This outfit is a simple festival look, fringe top, high-waisted denim shorts, and crazy gladiators, and of course, lots of midi rings.
What I'm Wearing:
1. Black Caged Back Crop Top- Brandy Melville http://www.brandymelvilleusa.com/
2. Burgundy Skirt- Brandy Melville http://www.brandymelvilleusa.com/
3. White High Tops- Converse http://www.converse.com/
Missing the chill summer vibes, luckily for my beach town, warm weather is not too much further away.
Spring here is as hot as most people's Summer. I'm already envisioning romantic, bohemian inspired outfits that reflect the careless beauty of Summer. White Lace, Feathers, Crop tops, Converses. These are my Summer/Spring staples.
I live has influenced my fashion aesthetic, here at the beach fashion isn’t
about wearing the most expensive designer clothes or dressing up in high heels, it’s all about style. There’s something about people who were
raised side by side with the ocean, as if the salty air seeped into our pores
and we breathe a different lifestyle than the landlocked. Just like the moon affects
the tides, the tides have affected us. The girls I grew up with were unlike any
people I’ve met anywhere else in the world. On the outside they were beautiful,
reckless and wild in their adolescence, on the inside they were wolves, strong
and fierce. Nothing has inspired me more than the juxtaposition between the
innocent, feminine idea of the female, and the violent, tempestuous storms we
can be. I was formed in those 2 a.m. summer nights, moon reflecting off the
ocean, my pack and I howling all night. Style isn’t always about clothes to me,
but experiences. My outfits are inspired by memories, stories, and people.
